Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess/Server to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any concerns professionally
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including setting tables and clearing dishes
- Process payments using POS systems such as Micros POS accurately
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Uphold high standards of guest service, hospitality, and professionalism at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; hotel experience is also advantageous
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes as needed
