We are hiring a reliable General Construction Worker / Handyman to assist with apartment renovation projects in Miramichi, NB. The role involves working in residential units and performing tasks such as painting, flooring installation, drywall repairs, and general renovation work.
Responsibilities
- Interior painting (surface preparation, patching, rolling, and brushing)
- Install flooring (laminate and similar materials)
- Drywall repair, minor framing, and basic carpentry
- Demolition, cleanup, and material handling
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in occupied apartment buildings
Requirements
- Experience in painting, flooring, or general renovations preferred
- Ability to perform physical work and lift construction materials
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation is an asset
