About the Opportunity
Polar Oils LP is seeking experienced and independent applicants to join us in supplying fuel and related storage and lubricant solutions to our network of customers. A successful candidate who enjoys a multifaceted individual who enjoys a dynamic and changing role. A primary function of the remote position will be loading, transporting and delivering both full and partial loads of fuel (gasolines & diesel) and propane safely, as directed by dispatch via body job (straight truck). The position will be based in Northern Saskatchewan with the expectation of completing both local and extended distanced deliveries. This a dynamic position with the expectation of rotating schedule of one week on one week off .
Position Expectations & Skills
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- Clean driving record.
- Safe history of a Class 1 vehicle
- Experience with fuel products is an asset
- Previous experience in propane delivery or other related fields preferred but not required.
- Meet TDG requirements for hauling fuel
- Safe delivery of Petroleum products in line with company Work Safe Policies and CPPI standards
- Ability to deliver both full loads and partial metered deliveries
- Effectively communicate with management and dispatcher
- Customer centric attitude
- self-motivated and thrives in an independent work setting
- Overtime is expected in this role
