What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Director, Sales, Marketing and Communications, the Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for combining the art of content strategy, management and web design to create and maintain beautiful, intuitive digital marketing deliverables. You will work alongside a team of passionate marketing professionals to promote Niagara Parks attractions, experiences, and products to visitors from around the world.
Assisted by designers and storytellers, your knowledge of content strategy, social media management, web design, UI/UX best practice, web analytics and search engine marketing allow you to launch effective digital marketing campaigns, create breathtaking landing pages, and continually improve the form and function of Niagara Parks’ online communication channels.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will:

Work with digital content team and communications team to strategize and create impactful, high-performing marketing materials with consistency across all platforms.

Acts as primary day-to-day administrator of consumer website, creating landing pages, event pages and continually updating styling and functionality with evolving industry best practices.

Using the latest tools (including but not limited to SEO tracking platforms, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta analytics research, analyze and adjust content and features to continually improve website performance and the guest experience.

Maintain Niagara Parks’ web properties to ensure continued AODA compliance and web development best practice.

Assist with the planning and distribution of multimedia assets for Niagara Parks’ website, advertising campaigns, social media channels, in-park media network, and third-party promotion of the brand.

Responsible for ensuring functionality and stability of Niagara Parks consumer website, working with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot issues related to e-commerce and hosting as required.

Responsible for updating content on the Niagara Parks in-park video network.

Plan, execute and report on paid digital marketing campaigns, including but not limited to pay-per-click strategies, third-party banner campaigns, social media and email marketing campaigns.

Monitor results, report on trends, research new opportunities, and test new strategies to continually improve upon the performance of the organization’s digital advertising portfolio.

What You’ll Bring
Education:
- Completion of a post-secondary diploma/degree in digital marketing, communications, web design, a related program, or equivalent industry experience.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a similar role.

Experienced in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), Meta and Google Platforms and front-end web design (HTML and CSS).

Basic proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily photoshop) along with Canva and email marketing platforms.
Experience:
-
Experience in creating, implementing and evaluating multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.

Well-versed in search engine optimization concepts, including the planning, analysis and execution of SEO audits and improvement plans.

Experience with front-end web design, including working with HTML and CSS to build responsive website content that follows design mock-ups and compositions.

Experienced working in a fast-paced, creative environment with the ability to collaborate on multiple projects at once as part of a cross-functional team.

Familiar with the digital communication requirements under the Accessibility for Disabled Ontarians Act (AODA).

Demonstrated maturity and integrity in dealing with guests and clients, including confidential or sensitive information.

Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript would be considered an asset.
