The J. Hansen Group is in search of a Gas Fitter / Heating Technician. They will maintain excellent rapport and build long-term value-based relationships with customers. We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working individual who takes pride in their work. With their enthusiastic and ambitious energy to provide the highest quality of customer service, they will play a definite key role in enhancing our corporate image and reputation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform boiler teardown and start-ups
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and service boilers
- Have knowledge of and are able to work on all types of Hydronic and Steam Heating Systems
- Proficient in boiler controls
- Other duties as assigned
Beneficial Skills and Requirements:
- Must have a valid Gas License (B Gas minimum)
- Refrigeration ticket is an asset
- Plumbing ticket is an asset
- Experience with boilers, pumps, heating piping installations is as asset
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to support 24-hour emergency service for our clients (flexible on-call rotating schedule)
- Must have a valid drivers license
