Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
- Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately at the front desk.
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, providing clear information or directing calls to appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Assist patients with paperwork, forms, and answering questions related to treatments or billing.
- Coordinate with the dental team to confirm appointments and follow-up schedules, ensuring efficient daily operations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence to support office productivity.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist is a must.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with insurance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Proven office experience with proficiency in administrative tasks, including scheduling and billing processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working with electronic medical records is a plus.
