Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our industrial plant site maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, backhoes with precision and safety.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on site.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs or report problems to maintenance personnel.
- Must be available to work overtime hours for snow removal.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract.
- Safety minded.
- Must have own vehicle - no public transportation to site.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary.
- Class 3 license an asset; Class 1 even better

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
