Role Summary
The Financial Analyst supports the Controller in month-end close & financial reporting, ensuring accuracy of the general ledger, while providing meaningful analysis & insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage month-end close activities including preparation & posting of journal entries (accruals, prepaids, payroll, intercompany) while ensuring accuracy & completeness of the general ledger
· Maintain & update fixed asset records
· Record & monitor bank transactions on a daily/weekly basis, ensuring timely posting, proper coding & resolution of discrepancies to support efficient & accurate month-end bank reconciliations
· Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, resolve discrepancies & ensure all accounts are accurate, supported & audit-ready
· Collaborate with AP/AR teams to resolve discrepancies, ensure completeness of transactions & maintain integrity of financial reporting
· Participate in physical inventory counts, reconcile variances with system records & work with operations to improve inventory accuracy & controls
· Provide cost & inventory analysis to support business decisions
· Support preparation & review of monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) ensuring accuracy & completeness
· Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, controls & close timelines
· Support the Controller with ad hoc analysis, requests & special projects as required

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- BA in Accounting; or equivalent, CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
