Survey Crew Cheif
Explore Inc is currently looking for multiple Survey Crew Chief based in the Edmonton and/or Calgary area. We are a young, dynamic, and fast-growing company looking to add core people. In this role, you will perform surveys for energy companies, engineering companies, and on construction projects. Explore Inc continues to expand its reach throughout Western Canada while introducing new technology to address the ever-changing market and exceed the expectations of existing and new clientele.
· Ability to lead a 2-person crew to conduct oil & gas, pipeline integrity, construction, and municipal surveys as defined by the project manager
· Prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes (digitally)
· Provides both leader and mentorship to other crew members and hold them accountable
· Stringently follows all health and safety duties as outlined in Explore’s HSE manual
· Good communicator. Will need to communicate well with ALS, project managers, HSE manager and client representatives
· Ability to adapt and learn new technologies
· The ability to work in remote locations
· Able to work away from home for extended periods of time

Relevant Work Experience: 3-5 years Oil & Gas Industry

CREDENTIALS/EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 3 year of construction and or oil and gas Crew Chief survey experience
· Geomatics Technologist Diploma an asset or equivalent field experience
· Experience with Trimble GPS survey equipment & total stations
· Valid Class 5 Drivers License accompanied with an acceptable driver abstract as per company policy
· Pre-employment and site-specific drug and alcohol testing may be required as per company policy.

Pay: $33.00-$44.00 per hour
