National Remediation & Renovation Inc. specializes in professional mould remediation, asbestos abatement, water damage restoration, selective demolition, and renovations throughout Southwestern Ontario.
Unlike many restoration companies, we do not perform emergency flood response, sewage cleanup, fire damage restoration, or insurance-driven production work. Instead, we focus on delivering high-quality remediation services that meet recognized industry standards while providing exceptional customer service.
As our company continues to grow, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Mould Remediation Technicians.
Position Summary
As a Mould Remediation Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians performing professional mould remediation projects in residential and commercial properties. The position involves containment construction, demolition, HEPA cleaning, equipment setup, moisture control, and reconstruction assistance.
Paid training is provided, and there are opportunities to advance into Crew Leader and other senior positions.
Responsibilities
- Perform mould remediation according to industry guidelines.
- Construct containment barriers and maintain negative air pressure.
- Remove mould-affected building materials including drywall, insulation, flooring, trim, and cabinetry.
- Operate restoration equipment including HEPA air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and air movers.
- Perform detailed HEPA vacuuming and cleaning procedures.
- Move and protect customer contents and furnishings.
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment.
- Assist with moisture investigations and selective demolition.
- Assist with reconstruction work including drywall, insulation, painting, trim, flooring, and general carpentry.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Communicate daily job progress with crew leaders and management.
- Represent the company professionally while working in customers' homes and businesses.
Requirements
- Physically capable of performing demanding work.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Reliable transportation to our shop each morning.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence (G Licence preferred).
- Clean driving record.
- Clean criminal background check.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Experience in mould remediation, restoration, construction, demolition, drywall, painting, or renovations is considered an asset but is not required.
Paid training and certifications are provided.
