Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Electrical Project Coordinator to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves assisting the Project Manager in the day to day operations of the electrical department, from ordering, picking and shipping equipment and supplies, adherence to safety standards, creation of closeout documents and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical knowledge of electrical systems and proficiency with construction management software. Duties
- Assist in the coordination and management of electrical projects, including scheduling, resource allocation and progress tracking
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications
- Utilize construction management software such as Padabid, Knowify and other relevant tools for planning and documentation
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving
- Assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes to maintain project profitability
- Monitor project timelines and ensure all phases are completed on schedule while maintaining high quality standards
- Conduct site visits to oversee work progress, verify compliance with safety protocols and resolve any issues that arise
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks and milestones for stakeholders
- Ensure all work adheres to local codes, safety regulations and industry best practices
Experience
- Proven experience in construction project coordination within electrical or related fields
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical systems design
- Proficiency with construction management software including PataBid, Knowify, Adobe, Google Suite, Microsoft and other relevant tools
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and civil engineering principles is preferred
- Demonstrated ability in project coordination with excellent time management skills
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects with multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $28.00-$33.50 per hour
