We are searching for a passionate and talented Painter/Finisher who takes pride in their craft. We are a busy woodwork shop with a large client base that provides a variety of interesting and high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Mixing and applying clear lacquer finishes and lacquer based opaque finishes
- Applying spray stains, wiping stains and other colorants
- Executing proper sanding techniques
- Prepping parts for spraying with HVLP
- Staging and organizing loads to go into the booth
- Spraying primer and basic finishes
- Learn our way from the lead hand and follow instructions
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in the woodwork manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication skills with a strong grasp of the English language
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to read and understand woodworking drawings is an asset
- Familiarity with spray/finishing mixing and equipment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Be familiar with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to work over time
- Own a car or have transportation to Port Coquitlam
- Spray shop hours: 5:00am - 1:30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
