Gangnam street food - Cook / Kitchen Staff (WEM & Kingsway Mall)
We are looking for motivated and experienced Cooks to join our teams at both our West Edmonton Mall (WEM) and Kingsway Mall locations.
Our menu features Korean cuisine and simple fast-food items, which are easy and quick to learn! We are currently looking for long-term team members who can continue working with us through September and beyond (after the summer season ends).
Please Note:
- Shift requirements: Must be available to work weekday mornings and afternoons (e.g., Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 9PM) on a permanent basis.
- Year-round availability required: Looking for candidates who can work consistently throughout the year, including during the school semester (not just seasonal or temporary).
- No short-term or seasonal applicants, please.
- Prepare and cook Korean food and simple fast-food items according to recipes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
- Assist with food prep and inventory management as needed.
- (Optional) Operate the POS system and handle customer transactions if required.Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous kitchen/cooking experience is
required.
- Language: Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Availability: Must be able to commit long-term, continuing past September (Non-student position).
- Asset: Previous experience operating a POS system is highly preferred.Compensation & Benefits
- Training Rate: $15.00 / hour (During the initial training period)
- Starting Rate: $16.20 – $18.00 / hour + tips +o/t (Determined after training, based on experience)
