We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our leadership team. This position is ideal for an organized, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in construction, restoration, or insurance-related project management.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced leader who can confidently manage multiple projects, lead teams, and build strong relationships with customers, insurance partners, and subcontractors.
Position Summary
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee restoration projects from initial inspection through final completion. You will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, quality, customer satisfaction, and project profitability while leading field staff and coordinating subcontractors.
Your ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and deliver exceptional customer service will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential and commercial restoration projects simultaneously
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed project scopes
- Estimate repairs and review project budgets
- Coordinate field technicians, carpenters, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Schedule work to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor project costs, profitability, and timelines
- Maintain accurate project documentation and job files
- Communicate regularly with homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, and brokers
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and industry best practices
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Mentor and support project managers and field staff when required
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in restoration, construction, or a related industry
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices
- Experience managing budgets, scheduling, and subcontractors
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
Preferred Assets
- Experience in insurance restoration
- Experience with Xactimate, DASH, Encircle, or similar restoration software
- IICRC certifications
- Previous leadership or operations management experience
