Location: West Kootenays, BC
We are a growing residential construction company specializing in custom homes, major renovations, structural projects, garages, shops, siding, decks, and exterior renovations throughout the West Kootenays.
We're looking for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship, can work independently, and wants to be part of a professional team focused on building great projects and growing a great company.
This is not an apprenticeship position. We are seeking someone with solid residential construction experience who can contribute immediately.
Responsibilities
- Residential framing
- Structural renovations
- Siding and exterior finishing
- Window and door installation
- Deck and railing construction
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Working independently and as part of a crew
- Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Helping maintain organized and productive jobsites
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years residential construction experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Pride in producing quality work
