Job Summary
Maritime Pride Eggs Inc. is the largest supplier of eggs in Atlantic Canada. We pick up, grade, package, and distribute eggs to all major chain stores in the Maritimes.
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Order Picker/Shipping Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. This energetic position involves selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers and support seamless warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Carefully pick and assemble customer orders according to specified guidelines and quality standards.
- Accurately package products to ensure safe transit and timely delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) to move goods efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and operational excellence.
- Assist with loading trucks, verifying shipments, and completing shipping logs with precision.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Experience
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and shipping documentation.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Prior experience in order picking or shipping is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude.
