Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee operations within our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing food preparation and service, and maintaining a positive environment for both team members and guests. Previous experience in hospitality, food industry, or hotel management is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts
- Oversee food preparation, baking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Monitor customer service levels to guarantee guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with health regulations.
- Support restaurant management in implementing policies and achieving operational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, baking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Experience with POS systems such as Panasonic or SICOM; cash handling skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Leadership abilities to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Background in food safety practices and food industry standards.
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required.
