The successful candidates will be responsible for performing demolition and asbestos-related work while adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations. Job Title: Demolition Worker (Asbestos Certified)
Location: Kingston, ON
Job Type: Full-Time, Night Shift (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform demolition and site preparation activities safely and efficiently.
- Remove and handle asbestos-containing materials in compliance with regulations.
- Operate hand and power tools as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures.
- Assist with general labor duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Asbestos Worker Certificate (Required).
- 1–2 years of demolition, construction, or asbestos abatement experience preferred.
- OPS Contractor Security Clearance (General) is an asset.
- Candidates without OPS Clearance must be willing to obtain:
- Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
- Local Police Clearance
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
