Job Description
Under the direction of the Supervisor/Lead Hand, the Production/Packager is responsible for all activities related to the manufacturing of Natural Health Products to finished product stage. Packaging & Encapsulating of Natural Health Products.
- Competently operate machinery
- Lifting is involved daily- must be physically fit. Up to 25kg at a time.
- Encapsulating & Packaging/Labelling of Natural Health Products
- Read and follow the work order requirement prior to production
- Clean and set up machinery, accessories and rooms within the standard time frame, per SOP requirement
- Match all labels with the work order
- Full sanitation of machine and machine parts.
- Cleaning station prior to beginning each order and prior to starting and finishing shift
- Working with raw material powder, which can be a dusty environment. NO allergies to powder or dust.
- Fast pace environment- must be quick on your feet!
- Following good manufacturing practices.
- Previous Natural Health Manufacturing experience is an asset, however full training will be provided to successful candidate.
Requirements
- Demonstrate ability to speak and read English fluently
- Mechanically inclined for machinery maintenance
- Prior experience of encapsulating is preferable but we will train suitable candidate
- Follow direction and show respect for company policy

- Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Knowledge of encapsulating and GMP an asset

Schedule
Monday to Friday - 9am to 4:30pm
Notes:
3 months probation period, after 3 months, a successful candidate will be eligible for a raise based on job performance.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
