Metro Machine Works is looking for a B Pressure Welder.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques (MIG, TIG or ARC)
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Alberta B Pressure Welder Certificate and pass a shop “B” Pressure weld test
- Familiarity with different types of metals and alloys
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently or as part of a teamThis position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment requiring precision craftsmanship and safety awareness.
