Summary
As an Industrial Electrician at Delta Star, you will play a key role in the reliability and performance of our operations. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving equipment and facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and continuously evolving production environment.
Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality and continuity of our operations—essential work that keeps our power transformers at the heart of North America's energy grid.
What We Are Looking For
- Install, diagnose (troubleshoot), repair and/or replace industrial equipment and components.
- Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance, and document activities in the maintenance system.
- Conduct inspection rounds and follow up on required actions.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS).
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize overall equipment performance.
Job Requirements
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Industrial Electricity or equivalent training.
- C License.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in French (functional English is an asset).
- High-voltage training (asset).
- Strong knowledge of building electrical systems.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment maintenance.
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Experience in industrial electrical systems and power distribution (asset).
- Basic knowledge of programming or automation (asset).

Salary
To be discussed based on experience + evening shift premium + C License premium
Work Schedule
Monday to Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
