Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive French language lessons tailored to students’ age and proficiency levels
- Create engaging instructional materials, activities, and assessments to enhance learning outcomes
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and extracurricular activities related to French language and culture
- Stay updated on best practices in language instruction and incorporate innovative teaching techniques
Qualifications
- Prior classroom experience teaching French or related language courses is preferred
- Strong proficiency in the French language, both written and spoken
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
- A passion for teaching languages and fostering cultural understanding
- Relevant teaching certification or degree in Education, Foreign Languages, or related field is a plus
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
