Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, efficiency, and supporting the overall operations of our restaurant or hospitality establishment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required; we value a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to prevent damage or contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth workflow
- Follow proper procedures for handling food and kitchenware to uphold hygiene standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, food handling, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation or cooking can be beneficial but is not required
- A strong understanding of sanitation practices and safety protocols within a hospitality setting is desirable
- Willingness to learn new skills and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
