North of Brooklyn Pizzeria – Avenue Road Location
North of Brooklyn Pizzeria is looking for an experienced Pizza Maker to join our team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality pizzas consistently.
Responsibilities
- Stretch pizza dough
- Build and cook pizzas according to company recipes and standards
- Safely operate and work with a stone pizza oven
- Launch pizzas into the oven, monitor the baking process, and rotate pizzas as needed to ensure proper cooking
- Remove, cut, and finish pizzas according to company standards
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Manage and maintain your station independently during service
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as required
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous pizza-making experience is required
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen is required
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset
