Job Description:
We are a tutoring centre in Toronto offering small group public speaking classes for students from elementary through young adult levels.
We are looking for an experienced instructor to teach in-person small group classes (2-4 students) focusing on confidence, clarity, storytelling, debate, presentation skills, and professional presence.
Classes are 90 minutes long with a weekly recurring schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Teach in-person small group public speaking classes (2-4 students per class)
- Adapt teaching style to different age levels (elementary to young adult)
- Help students build confidence, clarity, and professional communication skills
- Provide constructive feedback tailored to each student's level
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience (classroom or coaching)
- Experience teaching children and youth
- Ability to teach in person at our Toronto location
- Reliable and able to commit to a weekly recurring schedule
- Legally able to work in Canada
Nice to Have:
- Drama teaching background
- Experience with second-generation immigrant students
