Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in a dynamic work environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks such as loading and unloading materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople with their duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Valid "G" driver's license required
- Must be available for shifts between 5am-5pm Monday through Friday

- Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Must work well in a diverse team
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (i.e. 50lbs)
- Forklift Cert. & Whmis an asset
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment operation is preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to safety standards
