Responsibilities
- Safely operate the taxi vehicle according to traffic laws and company policies
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with luggage, answering questions, and ensuring passenger comfort
- Manage time efficiently to adhere to scheduled pickups and drop-offs
- Handle cash transactions accurately and issue receipts as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure passenger safety during trips
- Keep track of trip details, including routes taken and fare information
Skills
- Proven experience in driving, with a valid class 4 driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Excellent time management abilities to meet schedules reliably
- Ability to navigate city streets efficiently using GPS or traditional maps
- Experience in commercial driving is preferred but not required
- Basic cash handling skills for processing fares and giving change
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations responsibly
