Operations Assistant / Executive Assistant

About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and dependable Operations Assistant / Executive Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a growing McDonald’s organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can help keep operations organized behind the scenes. You will work closely with leadership to support restaurant operations, reporting, bookkeeping functions, HR administration, scheduling coordination, hiring administration, and various operational projects.
This is primarily a remote position; however, the successful candidate may be required to report to an office in Midland several times per week and occasionally travel to restaurant locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operational and administrative tasks
- Organize and maintain reports, records, and internal documentation
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and operational follow-ups
- Track action items and help ensure deadlines are met
- Communicate with restaurant management teams and vendors
- Assist leadership with operational projects and day-to-day coordination
HR & Administrative Responsibilities
- Support recruitment efforts including posting jobs, screening applicants, and scheduling interviews
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Maintain and organize employee files and HR documentation
- Assist with employee communications and follow-ups
- Track training completions, certifications, and onboarding progress
- Help coordinate uniform orders, employee paperwork, and onboarding packages
- Support scheduling coordination and vacation tracking
- Assist with workplace policy updates and administrative compliance tasks
- Support managers with hiring and staffing administration
Bookkeeping & Accounting Responsibilities
- Assist with payroll administration and invoice processing
- Perform bookkeeping and accounting support tasks including:
- Data entry and reconciliation
- Expense tracking and organization
- Accounts payable support
- Reviewing invoices and receipts
- Preparing reports and spreadsheets
- Assisting with month-end organization and financial reporting
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Google Workspace)
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial data
- QuickBooks experience is required
- Previous administrative, HR, bookkeeping, or operations experience preferred
- Experience in restaurant or multi-unit operations is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
