Role Overview:
The registered Health Care Aide (HCA) is a vital member of Absolute Homecare Solutions Inc., reporting directly to the Care Manager. The HCA provides hands-on personal care and support to clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. They are also responsible for monitoring clients' conditions and promptly reporting any changes to the Care Manager. This role includes medication assistance in accordance with company policy while upholding professional standards and always respecting the dignity, privacy, and autonomy of each client.
AHS operates in Calgary, Edmonton, Chestermere, High River, Banff, and Drumheller.
This casual position is based in Calgary.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active registration and practice permit as HCA are required
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required
Experience:
- Previous experience in a home care or healthcare setting is an asset
- Familiarity with supporting seniors or clients with complex care needs is a plus
- Experience in providing companionship or emotional support
- Newly-HCA graduates are welcome to apply
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
