Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals in a clean and welcoming environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
- Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Handle food safely and responsibly, following all food handling guidelines.
- Support serving staff as needed during busy periods, contributing to a positive dining experience for guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is beneficial.
- Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen environment.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, showcasing an understanding of customer service principles.
