Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Parts Person to join our team. This role involves supporting the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of parts within a dynamic dealership or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, basic mechanical knowledge, and experience with supply chain processes. Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing parts to meet operational needs, ensuring timely availability of inventory
- Perform data entry related to inventory management, order processing.
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, including tracking stock levels and updating databases regularly
- Support demand planning efforts by monitoring usage patterns and forecasting future requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and delivery schedules
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming parts shipments
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal department requests and inquiries regarding parts availability
- Support warehouse operations by organizing stock locations and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize sourcing strategies and improve procurement efficiency
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed (training provided)
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; relevant experience in manufacturing or supply chain is a plus
- Familiarity with data entry tasks and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and negotiation techniques will be advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working within automotive, HVAC, or manufacturing sectors is beneficial
- Experience with forklift operation or demand planning tools can be an asset
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and vendors

Pay: $37,694.77-$60,000.00 per year
