Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires strong time management skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for various cleaning tasks.
- Conduct commercial cleaning duties in accordance with safety protocols.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall operations.
- Lift heavy objects safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
Experience
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and staff.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools for cleaning purposes is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance is advantageous but not required.
- Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
