The Job!
You will operate an Isuzu flatbed truck to transport materials safely to designated locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Load, secure, and unload materials on the flatbed using appropriate tie-downs and safety procedures
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured and compliant with transportation safety regulations
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation
- Adhere to company safety policies, road safety regulations, and Ministry of Transportation standards
- Communicate with dispatch and site personnel regarding delivery status or issues
What you bring to the job
You are someone who is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. You come with:
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
- DZ license is an asset
- 3–5 years of proven experience operating flatbed trucks
- Valid forklift training completed
- Experience securing loads using straps, chains, and other tie-down equipment
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and commercial driving standards
- Ability to perform manual tasks related to loading and securing materials
- Strong attention to safety and detail

Expected Compensation: CAD $26.00-28.00 per hour.
