NOW HIRING: FULL-TIME MECHANIC
Landscape & Snow Removal Company
We are seeking a skilled, dependable Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a year-round position supporting both our landscaping and winter operations. The ideal candidate must be able to speak and write English and have strong experience maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment.
Equipment You Will Work On:
- Snow Removal Equipment: snow blowers, plows, salters, sanders, skid steers, and attachments
- Vehicles: cars, pickup trucks, dump trucks, and trailers
- Landscape Equipment: mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, small engines, and other maintenance tools
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all company equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur
- Prepare and maintain service records, logs, and repair documentation (English required)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Respond to urgent repair needs during snow events and busy seasons
- Order parts, track inventory, and communicate equipment status to management
- Occasionally travel to job sites to perform on-site repairs
- Any other duties as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic (automotive, small engines, heavy equipment, or a combination)
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and small-engine systems
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English clearly
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism are essential
