Position: Operations Manager
Location: Grande Prairie, Ab
Full Time: Schedule 21/7
Job Description:
- Manage and control base specific P/L.
- Manage and coordinate the functions of the base support staff
- Coordinates the technical and logistical support for field personnel. Includes administrative functions of scheduling and workload forecasting.
- Plans well testing services to ensure best match of individual employee capabilities to service requirements.
- Serves as the initial point of contact for service technicians and customers to supply technical expertise and/or obtain support.
- Coordinates logistics activities including personnel travel, trucking, and procurement.
- Directs field personnel scheduling and attendance.
- Ensures the organization’s compliance to customer requirements.
- Enforces compliance to safety policies.
- Manage field invoicing process for rentals and service
- Coordinate personnel scheduling.
- Supervise readiness of assigned equipment.
- Attend field sales meetings, CWOP’s, inspections and walkthroughs.
- Manage field incidents from initial report to resolution.
Preferred Competencies:
- 10+ years well testing field experience
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- PC Skills with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Management experience in well testing or other oilfield completions services.
- Aptitude in leading teams of people.
- Flexible working schedule.
- Customer service experience.
