We are currently hiring a Plastic Recycling Foreman to join our team.
Our company collects and processes plastic materials. This position involves operating plastic crushing/grinding equipment, moving boxes and materials, packing processed materials, loading trucks, and supporting daily warehouse/production operations.
This is a full-time, on-site position only. Remote or hybrid work is not available. The work environment can be noisy, and the role requires someone who is comfortable working in a hands-on industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Support daily plastic recycling/processing work
- Operate or assist with plastic crushing/grinding machines
- Move, sort, and organize plastic materials and boxes
- Pack processed materials into boxes or containers
- Load and unload trucks as required
- Operate forklift when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report equipment issues, material shortages, or safety concerns to management
Requirements
- Previous experience as a foreman, lead hand, warehouse lead, or production supervisor preferred
- Forklift experience is preffered
- Experience in plastic recycling, plastic processing, warehouse, or manufacturing is required
- Comfortable working in a noisy industrial environment
- Able to lift, move, and handle boxes/materials as required
- Able to follow safety procedures and work instructions
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work with a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
