JUNIOR PURCHASING AGENT

Our company offers a positive working environment and opportunity for future growth. We are currently searching for an experienced purchasing agent/project co-ordinator who will be responsible for the following:
- Print accurate work orders for new homes based on order of completions of houses;
- Purchase material and communicate with suppliers to ensure proper material is available and delivered to site and on time for installation;
- Control and maintain acceptable levels of inventory in shop with respect to ordering products, maintaining inventory counts, product and delivery cost;
- Review invoices to verify accuracy of quantity;
- Work with builders and architects to finalize colour selections;
- Direct liaison between foreman and builders.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication and writing skills, be well organized, work well under pressure, be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and work well with others and have strong computer skills (e.g. excel spreadsheet). Construction background is also beneficial.
