What we are looking for
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Welder. As a Wedler on the welding team, you are responsible for completing the fitting and welding of parts in an efficient manner and with a high degree of quality in conformance with CWB standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Following Health and Safety guidelines as set out by the industry and company.
· Fitting and Welding parts according to welding blueprints, specifications, manuals and procedures.
· Align components using calipers, tape measures, clamps, and fixtures.
· Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
· Verify Weld conformance according to CWB standards, customer specifications and tolerances.
Preferred Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
· Speak, read and write English
· Greater than 5 years experience with welding fabrication
· Basic computer use
· Completion of High School and trade school
· GMAW and GTAW tickets in CSA 47.1 and CSA 47.2 is preferred
· Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
