We are currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused Stone Slinger / Mixer Operator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced operator who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, operating equipment safely, and contributing to a positive team environment.

JOB DETAILS:
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Starting Wage: $35–$38 + Premiums as per collective agreement
Benefits: Union benefits including retirement savings, health, dental, vision, life insurance, etc after probation
Primary Location: Hazelhurst Yard (648 Hazelhurst Rd, Mississauga, ON)
REQUIREMENTS
- DZ class driver’s license, maintaining a clean driver’s abstract.
- Willing to travel up to 25% based on project assignment needs.
- Required to become a member of IUOE local 793
- Capable of performing labour-intensive jobs including exposure to seasonal weather, and work areas that are dirty, dusty, wet and noisy.
- Able/willing to work flexible hours, including Monday – Friday, overtime, weekends, and short notice work as needed.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate stone slinger and concrete mixer trucks.
- Deliver and place aggregates, sand, soil, and concrete at construction and industrial job sites.
- Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Complete delivery tickets and required documentation accurately.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and site personnel.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
