Job Summary
We are looking for a general labour with computer knowledge and can operate a machine. The machine operator, with our training will be able to run the Digital Die cutting machine. It's the machine that cuts out images from sheets or rolls of material. Pays $20/hr
Duties
- Operate various manufacturing machinery according to safety guidelines and production specifications
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunctions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to support manufacturing processes
- Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment
- Assist in setting up machines for different production runs and adjust settings as required
- Maintain clean and organized workstations to promote a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge or background in assembly work is advantageous
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools required
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial machinery and warehouse operations
- Ability to read technical manuals or schematics is beneficial
