JOB TITLE: Sales Coordinator (New Graduate Opportunity)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by handling administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, managing client communications, processing orders and preparing sales materials. They ensure smooth operations, boost team productivity and track and manage key elements of the business, such as, order logs and accounts receivable.
LOCATION:
This is an on-site position, based out of our Cambridge, ON office. Standard hours of work are 40 hours from Monday – Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the sales team and work with customers to process requests with accuracy and timeliness, including estimate and quote creation, project setup and scheduling coordination.
- Coordinate with operations team to align project scope, timelines and resource availability.
- Maintain and update CRM and ERP systems, customer records, sales trackers and dashboards.
- Support customer invoicing, purchase order tracking and project closure activities.
- Help track and manage Accounts Receivable collections and customer payment follow-ups.
- Monitor project status updates and support customer communication throughout project execution.
- Support the continuous improvement of internal sales tools, templates and reporting processes.
- Participate in customer meetings, internal planning meetings and project coordination discussions
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Education/Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Valid G‑class driver’s license or equivalent.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in sales administration, or sales and operations planning or equivalent.
- Experience in a service-based business is considered an asset.
Knowledge/Skills
- Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Business Central Dynamics) is an asset but training will be provided.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a willingness to learn and problem solve.
- Interest in technical sales, renewable energy, project coordination or industrial operations is considered an asset.
