Summary
We are seeking a Host/Server to join our dynamic team at Santa Lucia Pizza in 905 Co5 Corydon. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests, contributing to our mission of providing delicious homemade meals in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using our own POS system
- Take pick up/Delivery orders over the phone
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs.
- Assist with food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery to tables.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
