Alouette Bus Lines is a trusted provider of student transportation in Northern Ontario, safely transporting students every day. We're looking for an experienced 310T Licensed Shop Foreman to lead our maintenance team in Sturgeon Falls, ON.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a licensed technician who enjoys mentoring others, maintaining a safe and efficient shop, and ensuring our fleet is ready to serve the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of technicians and shop staff
- Schedule and prioritize daily repairs and preventative maintenance
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on school buses and fleet vehicles
- Ensure all work complies with MTO regulations and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and inspection documentation
- Manage parts inventory and coordinate ordering as required
- Foster a positive, safety-first work environment
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence (required)
- 3–5 years of fleet maintenance experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Working knowledge of MTO inspection and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
