Clinical Assistant (RN or PA) – Pain Clinic

Seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to work alongside a pain specialist/neurologist at Afiya Pain Clinic (downtown Toronto - Yonge/Wellesley, on subway line). This role will begin as part-time (2-3 days/week), with potential for full-time (4-5 days/week) depending on interest. Role-specific training will be provided.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and clinical assessments
- Obtain and document vital signs and relevant history
- Provide patient education regarding medications and treatment plans
- Coordinate referrals, imaging, forms, communications and follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure clinic flow efficiency and patient safety
- Assist with ambulatory interventional pain procedures
Qualifications
- Current registration in good standing with the CNO (RN) or eligible for licensure with CPSO (PA)
- Experience in pain management, neurology, orthopedics, procedural clinics, or ambulatory care an asset
- Comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Experience with EMR systems (e.g. Accuro)

Compensation & Schedule
- Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience and performance
