We are a growing event catering company seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. As an integral part of our operations, you will help create memorable experiences for our guests. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and customer service, looking to work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests during events, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging decorations as required.
- Serve food and beverages, adhering to food safety standards and ensuring a clean service area.
- Support bartending duties when necessary, including mixing drinks and serving patrons in a friendly manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event operations and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event space, including proper disposal of waste and recycling.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in restaurants, hotels, or the food industry.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus; certification in food handling or Serve It Right is desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Must be fluent in English, Mandarin as second language is an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- A proactive attitude with the willingness to help others and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Experience in bartending is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Candidate with a car or reliable mode of transportation is an asset.
