General Description
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the preparing, organizing, shipping and receiving of samples and supplies to the facility. On the job training is provided. These positions are not suitable for those who cannot do periodic lifting throughout the day. Strict adherences to safety procedures are required.
Shifts: Full-Time, Monday-Friday. Day Shift (8:00am-4:00pm)
Education Required: High School Diploma.
Responsibilities
- Preparing, organizing, shipping, and receiving samples and supplies
- Organizing boxes and skids for disposal or return
- Delivering supply shipments internally
- Ensure that damaged parcels or samples are reported immediately
- Updating logs, excel files, or the storage program as required for samples and supplies
- Pulling necessary pulps and rejects for additional or refires and ensuring that all pulps and rejects are stored appropriately using the storage program
- Ensure maintenance and janitorial tasks are performed daily
- Be Safety oriented with all aspects of the job
