Pharmacy Assistant - Independent community Pharmacy : Port Coquitlam
As a Pharmacy Assistant at our Family owned independent Community Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacist and pharmacy team in delivering essential pharmaceutical services to the vulnerable community.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant is preferred.
- MUST have a class 5 drivers license
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards serving vulnerable clients.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a strong command of the English language verbally and written.
- Must be flexible on Schedule
Your primary focus will be to assist with prescription processing, medication dispensing, delivering and witnessing medications at patient home and also doing the vital (BP,BG Weight) checks, device teaching and assistance.
Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be critical in managing records, faxing to prescriber periodically, restocking shelves, and assisting with medication orders. In addition, you must be able to be comfortable doing deliveries on regular basis.
