Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of sales techniques, and familiarity with flooring products and renovation projects. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their flooring needs and provide tailored solutions
- Assist clients with selections
- Develop and maintain customer accounts, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle
- Ensure displays are attractive and well-organized
- Support marketing efforts by promoting new products and special promotions
- Maintain organized records of sales activities and customer interactions
Experience
- Proven experience in outside or retail sales, preferably in flooring, renovation, or construction industries
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to upsell products effectively
- Knowledge of SketchUp, CAD, or similar design tools is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Background in design or sales is preferred
- Ability to understand basic math for measurements, pricing calculations, and inventory management
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts and sales activities efficiently
