Schedule: Monday to Friday (8-5pm) weekend off

About the Role
We are currently hiring an Auto Body Painter for a reputable collision repair facility located in Nobleton, Ontario. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering competitive compensation, stable hours, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, refinishing, and restoring vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve accurate manufacturer specifications.
- Apply primers, base coats, clear coats, and other refinishing materials.
- Operate spray guns and painting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform blending and color-matching procedures as required.
- Inspect completed paint work to ensure quality and consistency.
- Identify and correct paint defects, imperfections, or finish issues.
- Maintain paint booth equipment and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Work closely with Body Technicians and management to meet repair timelines.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety standards.
- Participate in training programs and support a positive team environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an Auto Body Painter in a collision repair or automotive refinishing environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems, preparation, and refinishing techniques.
- Experience with color matching and paint mixing.
- Ability to operate spray-painting equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid G Driver's License preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
