Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Legal Assistant to support our lawyers in the areas of real estate, corporate/commercial, and estate planning and administration law. The successful candidate will manage legal files from inception to completion, assist with document preparation and client communications, and help ensure the efficient delivery of legal services in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, proofread, and manage legal documents and correspondence relating to real estate, corporate, and estate matters.
- Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchase, sale, refinancing, and closing documentation.
- Support corporate transactions, incorporations, annual maintenance, and corporate record and minute book administration.
- Prepare estate planning and estate administration documents, including wills, powers of attorney, and probate application materials.
- Maintain electronic and physical client files and ensure accurate record keeping.
- Coordinate client meetings, document execution, deadlines, and transaction closings.
- Conduct title, corporate, and other legal searches as required.
- Liaise professionally with clients, financial institutions, accountants, government offices, and other professionals.
- Assist lawyers with file management, due diligence, reporting, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm.
- Experience in real estate, corporate/commercial, and/or estates law preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines independently.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Professional, client-focused approach and commitment to confidentiality.

Pay: From $43,000.00 per year
